My song, Lonely Days, has been selected as one of Indieheaven's Top 20 songs for this month. That means two things:
1. It is on the Top 20 Radio chart at Indieheaven for the month of May.
and
2. You go to the Radio chart and rate it...every day, if you like...so that it moves up the chart. If it's one of the top 10 at the end of the month, then it will automatically stay on the chart for the next month.
Thanks for listening and voting.
Last month before I left for Germany, my local Christian radio station contacted me about submitting a song for their Saturday morning kids' show. Well, of course, I was more than willing to do this, but as I thought about it I realized that my songs aren't really...uh...how should I say it?..."kid-friendly". So they encouraged me to perhaps write a kids' song. That was two weeks before I had to leave and I certainly knew that wasn't going to happen. But then I remembered a song I wrote several years ago for the AWANA kids at our church, so I dug it out, added a chorus and told them that I possibly had a song that we could use. So, four days before I headed out, I went to the very cool studio of Steven Courtney, the master and king of kids' songs, and recorded "Everybody Needs to Sing". He just sent me the mp3 of the finished product so I thought I'd post it for you guys to have a listen. Hope you enjoy.
