Hello Vox friends! :)
I just wanted to let you know that I'm doing a little consolidating here. It's been a while since I've posted on here and because most of my "blog traffic" is through my website or Facebook, I'm going to go ahead and point you in those directions. My website blog will feed into my Facebook notes, and if you have a Blog Reader, you can plug my site into that as well, so I think I'm covered.
I have really exciting things going on in my life right now that I hope to keep everyone "up to speed" on. I've arrived in Germany and will begin language study in a few weeks--hopefully not before I'm able to settle into an apartment (or "flat" as they say...I like saying that now, too :) ).
So, my website, if you don't already know, is www.mindyboyd.com. From there you can pretty much stay connected with me through Facebook, Indieheaven, YouTube, etc.
Thanks for following along on this journey of mine.

Yes, I'm finally here in Germany! I can't believe it!...and I'm just about over my jet-lag, thank goodness! It really seemed to knock me out this time!
I met your friend when I was in Oregon last month! :) ...and I think Amy has some video footage of that concert as well...I'd like to see that sometime myself.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas as well, and happy New Year! Blessings!
Well around all this time, God decided he wanted to move in my friends life who was very isolated, and also had this unused musical gift. I contacted Amy to see if she might be willing to mentor this gal for a season. And that has had a huge impact.
I had prayed with this friend that God would open doors to find her someone to mentor her in music and also to get her plugged back into community. That was in December. Within two months of that prayer she was connected with Amy, going to the church etc (and she had been out of church for 4 years). It has changed her life. And if you knew the whole story, you would know its really miraculous what God has done with that connection.
And, it all started with me hearing your song in that workshop. So from you, to Randy's blog, to your blog, to the video posted on my blog, to Amy's blog, to Amy and my friend connecting. I would never have met Amy without you and without Amy things would not have changed for my friend. Amazing!
What also is amazing is how God loves us so much that he is willing to use many different people along the way to help just one person. So he used me, you, Amy, all the people in that church to come along side her to start to breathe life there.
Yay God! :)
